This book-match set has hard grain lines that are wavy along the plate

The pieces were quarter sawn, sorted and stored in March of 1979. The log was initially split, and then quartered off of the split. The two pieces measure 11 ¾ inches butted up against one and other and 15 ½ inches across individually.
