Delta 39 Maple Violin Tonewood

Short, tight flame that fades not far from the center. This book-match set has a medium grain, widening in the middle and thinning significantly towards the flanks.

These maple wedges were quarter sawn, sorted and stored in July of 1989. The two pieces measure 10 ¼ inches butted up against one and other, and 15 inches across individually.
