Delta 40 Maple Violin Tonewood

A faint, watery flame that fades not far from the center and tapers off towards the bottom of the planks. This book-match set has a medium grain that is relatively consistent throughout.

The pieces were quarter sawn, sorted and stored in July of 1989. The two pieces measure nearly10 ¼ inches butted up against one and other and almost 15 ¼ inches across individually.
