Delta 42 Spruce Violin Tonewood

This book-match set has straight grain lines widening from the center seam. This match is right off the split. An excellent set of spruce tonewood.

The pieces were quarter sawn, sorted and stored in March of 1979. The log was initially split, and then quartered off of the split. The two pieces measure 11 ¾ inches butted up against one and other and just over 15 inches across individually.
