Now, history has been repeated in the quaint New England workshop of Birkhamshaw & Roy in Stonington, Connecticut. The Birkhamshaw and Roy Professor Deluxe series violin is hand crafted in the Italian tradition in our Stonington, Connecticut workshop. Well seasoned & figured domestic Maple from the Pacific North West that was cut in the 1980's is selected for it's tonal and visual qualities, coupled with Domestic and/or European Spruce tops. Careful attention to graduations ensure an instrument that will play as good as it looks. Time tested varnish allows the instrument to open and mature for a classic tone so deeply sought after in older instruments. The Professor Deluxe series violins from Birkhamshaw & Roy are in a class by themselves, a tremendous value instrument for the serious student or professional musician.
